Bygone
Derbyshire
To quote from the site it is "packed full of fascinating articles about our county’s heritage and the people who have made it so great. Each day it will be updated with material created by Telegraph writers but one of the best things about bygonederbyshire.co.uk is that you can help it become the definitive archive of life in the county by adding your own stories and pictures or commenting on those contributed by others."
I'm pleased that Bygone Derbyshire now features many of the various stories that were previously published in "Yesterday Today", and the list is growing each week as new stories are added from the Bygones section of the Evening Telegraph. Below are links to those that are currently featured. If you enjoy these, or if they provoke memories of your own, perhaps you would like to comment on the story via the comment feature on the Bygone Derbyshire website, or contact me at mail@philwhiteland.co.uk
October, 2009 - After a brief hibernation, the Bygone Derbyshire site seems to have come to life again with a whole range of new articles being uploaded daily.
